Tips To Save Your DVD or CD Project When It's Crunch Time

10 Project Saving Tips

Maybe your current vendor drops the ball, or your boss decides at the last minute they want to change something, or your developer is late with content. Whatever the reason, here are TEN Project Saving tips Action Duplication recommends to make sure your project gets done on time and with the highest quality:

1. Proof your content and make sure it's approved before sending
2. Courier the master disc to save a day
3. Consider generic packaging rather than pre-printed
4. FTP your art immediately after its approved
5. Utilize your duplicator's in-house graphics department if last minute adjustments are needed
6. Consider CD-Rs and DVD-Rs, rather than molded discs. The former have quicker turn times
7. Be willing to accept PDF proofs
8. Accept a partial delivery while the rest of the run can be delivered when finished
9. If the discs are going to a show, ship directly to the final destination
10. Find a vendor, like Action Duplication, that runs production 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
